Ive been looking … Ive been looking into getting a DSLR for a while now. and have decided to purchase the 450D. Only problem is i cant decide wether to get the Lens kit that includes 18-55mm and 55-250mm or just get the Body and a Canons EF-S 17-85mm Lens. Any idea what would be best and why? thanks

no doubt u will go … no doubt u will go into 450D as 1000D are for newbie photographer and the function provided are not as detailed as 450D from the function menu u can change the 450D default to custom which will give u details to adjust the more specific details u need or those that suits ur shooting style comparing it with the eos 5D marks 3 it offers a close menu comparison …. so if ur new and wanted to have photography skill for ur hobby u should get 450D for now it may cost more but its worth it

More or less, yes. … More or less, yes. When you take the photo it stabilizes it, so it doesn’t come out blurry. Just think of it “Steadying” it.

yes kickyourass pls … yes kickyourass pls 1000D is super useless DSLR in market that cost almost the same as nikon D60 comparing the specs it lose out almost those important features do check out the review of 1000D,comparing the live-view with olympus e520 its useless in the sense that its not clear and cant view if ur lifting it high and comparing with canon 450D its camera resolution is lower,stuff like quality is much lousy as compared to 450D … wonder who create the 1000D because it lose out any DSLR in market

Is there a big … Is there a big difference between the 450D and 1000D?? The salesperson told me there is no major differences between these 2 but i’m convinced that there is no such thing to similar products can have a 300bucks difference in price

i am a professional … i am a professional photographer and work in the ography field. This camera is awesome. I get the best shots with macro. Honestly my wife tells me I am doing well. I did not buy it but it was given to me by the director. Awesome machine.

the 18-55mm Lens is okay for beginners, but it would be more clever to buy the 450D without a lens. I suggest you to buy then a Canons EF-S 17-85mm Lens!
If you want to know the difference between 450D and 1000D go to the canon Homepage. There is a function, with that you can compare.
