Yes. Most Canon lenses fit on most Canon cameras.
Of course, if you were using Nikon you wouldn’t even have to ask, if the lens and camera were both made after 1959 you would know they would fit, due to Nikon’s excellent F-mount.
Yes they are. The digital Rebels accept all Canon EF and EFs lenses. Your 35mm camera will only accept the EF lenses.
